|  | ARC Elects New President July, 2008 - Frank R. Wiley, an Altoona real estate agent and appraiser, was elected President of the ARC Federal Credit Union Board of Directors. As a member of the Board of Directors for the past four years, Wiley succeeds Matt McConville, who served the maximum term of three years. Prior to his affiliation with Howard Hanna/Johnston Realty, Wiley held the position of Operations Manager for the real estate department of Cornell. He has an undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance from Juniata College and a master’s degree with an emphasis in Real Estate Development from Cornell University. Locally and area-wide, Wiley has served as an officer on many boards of directors, including Sunrise-Altoona Rotary Club, Emergency Shelter, Altoona City Planning Commission, and the Blair County Planning Commission. Office OlympixApril 1, 2008, Altoona, PA - Twelve ARC FCU staff members competed in the 2008 Easter Seals Office Olympix. ARC was able to raise $1,300.00 for this charity thanks to contributions from the ARC membership and employees. The ARC Olympians were Angela Servello, Renee Smith, Patrick Rhoa, Pauline Balestino, Jenn Ferry, Jessica Kephart, Olivia Miles, Sue Gray, Jesse Flanagan, Aliah Perretta, Dawn Drexler, and Stephen Dalecki.

ARC Federal Credit Union Purchases New Branch November 13, 2007, Altoona, PA – ARC Federal Credit Union recently purchased the former Citizens Bank Branch, located at 419 North Seventh Street, in the Juniata section of Altoona. This facility will be utilized as an additional location to better serve ARC Federal Credit Union’s growing membership. The Juniata branch will eventually become a full service branch with a lobby, drive through lanes, and loan officers on staff. The branch will enable ARC Federal Credit Union to serve the financial needs of many of the residents of Juniata who have been without a financial institution in their area for over a year and a half. ARC Federal Credit Union’s main location, at 1919 Seventh Avenue, will continue to provide a full range of services to members. ARC Federal Credit Union has been providing service to members for over 50 years and currently serves almost 10,000 members. The credit union has grown to an asset size of $43 million, making ARC one of the largest credit unions in the region. ARC Donates to Sacred Heart's Mission Project

ARC Federal Credit Union donated $1,000 to Sacred Heart Parish’s Mission Project. ARC FCU, formerly Sacred Heart FCU, is celebrating its 50th Anniversary by recognizing Sacred Heart and its sister parish, St. Robert Bellarmine, in Chapelton Jamaica. The money will be used to build a computer lab for the St. Robert Bellarmine school.
